Senior Accountant – Bogotá

About the role

Audubon is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Bogotá office. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supports month‑end close, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record complex journal entries and maintain supporting documentation.
• Perform monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations and analyze GL variances.
• Lead assigned areas of the financial close process and prepare management reports.
• Conduct balance‑sheet and income‑statement analysis and support external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including ERP enhancements.
• Partner with business units on project accounting, revenue recognition, and cost analysis.
• Mentor junior staff and review their work for accuracy.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of professional accounting experience, preferably with public‑accounting exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• English proficiency at C1 level preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as Acumatica, Oracle, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of internal controls and compliance standards.
