Senior Accountant – Corporate Controllership

About the role

The Senior Accountant will support the Corporate Controllership team in Purchase, NY, ensuring the integrity of financial statements across multiple verticals. This role collaborates closely with Business Unit and Regional Controllers as well as Global Business Shared Services.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financials for assigned verticals within Corporate Controllership.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc management reports, including variance analysis and executive presentations.
• Conduct accounting research and provide recommendations on complex accounting topics.
• Assist in drafting technical accounting memorandums and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Establish, monitor and enforce operational and SOX controls in line with corporate governance.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and support process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Fluent in English.
• Degree in Accounting with CPA or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Excellent analytical skills and experience reviewing accounting treatments.
• Proactive relationship‑building with business partners.
• Experience executing and assessing internal controls.
• Proficient PC skills, especially Microsoft Office.
