Senior Accountant

About the role

The Gross Revenue Senior Accountant will manage revenue recording and reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role supports both current accounting operations and future M&A integrations while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Monitor accounting for agreements to ensure compliance with Mastercard policies.
• Perform balance‑sheet account reconciliations and adhere to close schedules.
• Produce management reporting, variance analysis, and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Maintain documentation and procedures for expense processes.
• Represent GBSC on cross‑functional projects affecting expense accounting.
• Provide revenue customer service support and resolve processing issues.
• Administer Blackline account reconciliation system and monitor balance‑sheet health.
• Participate in SOX testing and internal/external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Prior experience in revenue accounting or shared‑services environment.
• Knowledge of revenue accounting and management processes.

Required skills

• Oracle accounting system.
• Blackline reconciliation tool.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP.
