Senior Accountant – Remote (LATAM)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our remote finance team supporting real‑estate investments across LATAM. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for real‑estate properties and investment entities.
• Oversee the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate transaction recording in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage daily cash reporting, post non‑AP cash transactions, upload Positive Pay files and review rejected items.
• Lead complex reconciliations including bank, balance‑sheet, intercompany and property‑related accounts.
• Support budgeting, quarterly forecasting and variance analysis; upload budgets into OSA.
• Oversee property accounting activities such as revenue recognition, expense allocation, capital expenditures and tenant accounting.
• Coordinate month‑end and year‑end close processes, including journal entries, accruals and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead internal and external audit processes and prepare required documentation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven experience applying US GAAP in a real‑estate or investment environment.
• Ability to lead process improvements and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset.
