Senior Analyst, Analytics & Metrics

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Analyst, Analytics & Metrics to join its Global Business Services Center. In this role you will turn complex data sets into actionable insights that support finance, people, sales, marketing, legal and other shared services functions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured data sources.
• Process, clean and transform data to build reporting‑ready datasets.
• Create, maintain and enhance interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Identify trends, patterns and insights, and translate them into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Convert business requirements into detailed solution specifications and deliver high‑quality outputs on schedule.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Administration.
• Proven experience in analytics or business intelligence roles handling large data volumes.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in R.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Experience with Power BI.
