Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis to join IQVIA’s Finance team. The role will oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, project profitability analysis, revenue recognition and accounting operations while partnering with internal stakeholders and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee accounting and financial analysis activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare, review and audit financial reports, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, expenditures and accruals to meet performance targets.
• Analyze financial results, identify variances, trends, risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support revenue recognition processes and ensure budget accuracy within financial systems.
• Manage invoicing, client billing inquiries and cash collection efforts.
• Review Accounts Receivable balances and unbilled amounts to optimize Days Sales Outstanding.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Project teams to communicate accounting policies.
• Prepare financial reports and business insights for leadership and clients.
• Supervise, coach and develop finance team members through training and performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting, financial analysis or FP&A experience.
• At least 2 years of people management or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting principles.
• Advanced analytical, financial modeling and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition practices and project profitability analysis.
