Senior Backend Developer

About the role

Tether is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join its global fintech team. You will help design, build, and maintain the backend services that power Tether’s stablecoin ecosystem, tokenisation platforms and data solutions. The role is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate with engineers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend components for multiple Tether services using agile methodologies.
• Ensure scalability and real‑time responsiveness as user volume grows.
• Implement robust security measures, as security is Tether’s top priority.
• Collaborate with product and front‑end teams to deliver new features and improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous integration pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior‑level backend development.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.
