Senior Backend Engineer – Azure Integration

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, develop, and support enterprise‑scale integration solutions. The role focuses on building API‑first, event‑driven architectures that connect cloud and on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support integration solutions using Azure Integration Services.
• Architect and implement API‑led, API‑first, and event‑driven integration patterns.
• Develop, publish, secure, and manage APIs through Azure API Management.
• Build orchestration workflows with Azure Logic Apps and messaging solutions with Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs.
• Collaborate with solution architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to define integration strategies.
• Ensure solutions follow Azure Well‑Architected Framework and cloud‑native best practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and participate in architecture and code reviews.

Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years hands‑on with Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience with Azure Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Queues, Topics, Event Grid, Event Hubs, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Monitor, and Application Insights.
• Expertise in API‑first architecture, microservices, OAuth, and Azure Well‑Architected Framework.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for cloud deployments.
