Senior Backend Software Engineer – Python – Remote

About the role

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer you will build backend services on AWS that support products used by millions of collectors. This hands‑on position lets your code reach customers through web and mobile experiences, and offers the chance to grow cloud and backend expertise on a feature‑ownership team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
• Implement features end‑to‑end, from design through deployment.
• Develop and consume APIs used by web and mobile applications.
• Work with containerised services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Create and maintain data models in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Python proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS Serverless services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
• Background working with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
