Senior BIM Coordinator - Digital (Data Centers)

About the role

AECOM Enterprise Capabilities is looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator - Digital (Data Centers) to support complex international data center projects. The role leads BIM implementation, coordinates digital project delivery, oversees Common Data Environment (CDE) management and promotes BIM standards, quality and collaboration across multidisciplinary global teams in Bogota, Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• BIM implementation strategy: develop the BIM implementation strategy and deliver complex international projects
• CDE management: establish and administer the CDE and support multi-stakeholder projects
• Project management: coordinate BIM execution and project delivery with project leadership
• BIM execution: create and maintain the project framework documents (BEP, MIDP, MPDT, appendices)
• Technical support: set up data-integrated workflows for civil projects and train project teams
• Digital content: oversee smart object content, templates and libraries, deploy the AECOM content management system (Autodesk Content Catalog I) and manage digital collaboration tools
• Quality: run digital QA procedures, check BEP compliance through model checks, track KPIs and report regularly
• Collaboration: act as an ambassador for the global group working with regional project teams and Enterprise Capabilities departments

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 6+ years of experience in BIM and digital delivery, including a formal multidiscipline BIM Manager/Coordinator role on buildings projects
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM standards, and experience delivering BIM data from buildings design
• Experience administering a Common Data Environment such as ACC and coordinating multi-discipline clashes and issues
• Fluent English (oral and written); relocation assistance and sponsorship are not available

Required skills

• Revit and/or Civil 3D
• Advanced use of Autodesk Navisworks, Revizto or ACC Model Coordination
• AIT and/or AVT; visual programming (Dynamo) preferred
• Portfolio of BIM for buildings/data center projects; international experience with global teams
