Senior Bookkeeper (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level Bookkeeper to join our finance team on a remote basis. You will ensure accurate financial records, support day‑to‑day accounting operations, and help maintain the company’s financial health and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Record and manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain organized, up‑to‑date financial ledgers.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to verify financial data accuracy.
• Track expenses, categorize transactions, and support budgeting activities.
• Assist with tax preparation and financial documentation.
• Stay current with bookkeeping best practices and accounting standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Experience with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
