Senior Cyber Security Analyst - SOC

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) on a remote basis in Colombia. In this position you will act as a trusted security advisor, designing and maintaining solutions that protect our systems and data while responding to complex incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security solutions across private, public and hybrid cloud environments.
• Monitor alerts from Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike Falcon, Splunk and other tools, investigate anomalies and mitigate risks.
• Lead response to security incidents, document findings and coordinate escalations.
• Conduct vulnerability research, provide recommendations on emerging threats and drive remediation.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Significant experience as an IT Security Administrator in diverse environments.
• Strong understanding of security fundamentals, networking concepts and cloud security.
• Active security certification such as CISSP, GIAC or CompTIA Security+.
• Excellent oral and written communication with professional discretion.

• Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike Falcon, Splunk, Qualys, Tenable, Palo Alto Networks.
• Unix and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Security automation and scripting for workflow support.
• Vulnerability assessment, anti‑malware, file integrity monitoring and data loss prevention solutions.
