About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing technology team in Bogotá. The role focuses on building and maintaining highly available, mission‑critical infrastructure while driving automation and cloud‑to‑on‑premise migrations.

Key responsibilities

Lead and maintain mission‑critical infrastructure with a target uptime of 99.98%.
Plan and execute Kubernetes migrations from AWS/Azure to on‑premises environments.
Design, develop, and operate infrastructure‑as‑code solutions.
Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement continuous improvements.
Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
5–10 years of professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
Conversational English (B2–C1) and willingness to work primarily on‑site in Bogotá.

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
Programming/Scripting: Python, Go, Ruby, Node.js
Version control: Git, Bash, PowerShell
Web servers: Apache, Nginx, IIS, Tomcat
Networking: Load Balancers, Firewalls, WAF, DNS, SSL/TLS
Monitoring & Observability: Grafana, Kibana, Zabbix, SolarWinds
