Senior Engineer – Cloud & AI (Colombia)

About the role

We are looking for a senior software engineer to lead the design and delivery of cloud‑native, AI‑enabled solutions for our clients in Colombia. The role combines deep AWS expertise with hands‑on experience in large language models and generative AI, and serves as a technical reference for the team.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end architecture of distributed, cloud‑native systems, from infrastructure‑as‑code (AWS CDK) to production operations.
• Write Architecture Decision Records that define long‑term standards and translate ambiguous business needs into concrete technical plans.
• Guide the team through code reviews, design critiques and mentorship, raising the overall technical bar.
• Make cost‑effective, performant, and scalable architectural decisions for services built with Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Bedrock, SQS, SNS, and ECS.
• Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1 level or higher) and several years of professional software development experience.
• Proven track record designing and delivering cloud‑native applications on AWS.
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI, LLMs, and AI agents.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical teams.
