Senior Flutter Mobile Developer

About the role

A digital product growth consultancy with over 20 years of experience in software development and customer experience optimization is hiring a Senior Flutter Mobile Developer through Emapta. The role is day shift (8:00 AM-5:00 PM EST), weekends off, and fully remote, working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test and document mobile features in Flutter and Dart, and manage the development backlog with focus on speed, performance and user experience.
• Translate Figma designs into responsive UI components and manage frontend requirements from design through QA approval.
• Integrate REST APIs, GraphQL and microservices with backend teams, ensuring reliable data exchange and error handling.
• Maintain scalable architectures and state management solutions with BLoC and Riverpod, and profile performance (frame render times, memory).
• Keep mobile and web functionality in sync, and deploy apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store via CI/CD pipelines.
• Take part in weekly backlog refinement meetings.
• Build and maintain mobile e-commerce functionality through Shopify's Storefront API, and integrate Sanity CMS for dynamic content.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, preferred.
• More than 5 years of mobile development in a DTC or e-commerce environment, including at least 5 years of professional Flutter and Dart experience.
• Proven experience integrating mobile apps with microservices, GraphQL and REST APIs, and turning Figma designs into code.
• Ability to work with backend and web teams, define tickets in Jira, write technical documentation, and work in a fast-paced, backlog-driven team.
• Preferred: 1 year in an agency or client-facing role; experience in DTC, fashion or high-growth e-commerce; native e-commerce app development; headless CMS exposure.

Required skills

• Flutter, Dart, BLoC, Provider and Riverpod; complex custom UI components.
• REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, Jira.
• Preferred: CI/CD pipelines (Codemagic, Bitrise, GitHub Actions), Clean Architecture, Shopify Storefront API, Sanity CMS.
