Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend & Mobile / AI-Assisted)

About the role

Goods & Services is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong mobile focus to expand and maintain its cross‑platform mobile application and backend microservices. You will work on a React + Capacitor app for iOS and Android while also contributing to a modern Node.js/TypeScript service ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a React + Capacitor mobile app for both iOS and Android.
• Publish and support production releases on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, including REST API design and consumption.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to create scalable, microservice‑based solutions.
• Participate in system design discussions emphasizing reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Implement asynchronous workflows, event‑driven processes, and background jobs.
• Design database schemas, handle migrations, and model data with Prisma ORM.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to boost productivity.
• Conduct code reviews and champion engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering production mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Strong expertise with TypeScript in production environments.
• Solid background in React 18, Vite, and Capacitor 8.
• Extensive experience with Node.js (v22) and building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases, ORM frameworks, and Prisma.
• Understanding of microservice architectures and service‑to‑service communication.
• Experience with asynchronous processing and background job systems.
• Fluent use of VS Code, GitHub, and GitHub Copilot beyond basic autocomplete.
