Senior Fullstack Engineer (NodeJS & ReactJS)

About the role

Deel is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build high‑quality, responsive web applications for its global payroll and HR platform. You will work in a remote‑first, cross‑functional team, contributing from discovery through deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop client‑side features using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and related frameworks.
• Design and implement server‑side APIs and business logic primarily with Express (and optionally NestJS).
• Create and optimise PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data models.
• Build reusable, modular components for both front‑end and back‑end to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Perform thorough testing, debugging, and code reviews to maintain high quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to deliver robust features and a white‑glove customer experience.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of full‑stack experience with Node.js and React.js, focusing on TypeScript.
• Comfortable working remotely in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Business‑focused mindset with attention to detail and customer experience.
