Senior Information Management Associate – Shelter & Settlements

About the role

The Senior Information Management Associate will support the Shelter and Settlements Cluster in Colombia by overseeing the collection, validation, analysis, visualization and dissemination of data that underpins coordination, operational planning and evidence‑based decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and continuously improve information‑management processes for the cluster.
• Collaborate with humanitarian actors, government counterparts and IOM units to produce dashboards, maps, factsheets and analytical reports.
• Ensure data quality through collection, cleaning, verification and consolidation activities.

Required profile

• Education: High school diploma with 6 years experience, or a bachelor’s degree in information management, data science, geography, statistics, social sciences, business administration or related field with at least 4 years relevant experience.
• Experience in humanitarian information management, including data collection, analysis, visualization and production of information products; prior work with IOM, UN or in Colombia is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (oral and written) is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with databases, spreadsheet applications and reporting platforms.
• Advanced data‑visualisation and information‑design capabilities (dashboards, maps, factsheets).
• Strong quantitative and qualitative data‑analysis skills.
