Senior iOS Developer

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior iOS Engineering Lead to own the native side of a brownfield mobile application that combines a React Native layer with a native iOS shell. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration, high‑quality code, and robust lifecycle management across UIKit and SwiftUI screens.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement native iOS screens using UIKit (UIViewController) and SwiftUI, following MVP, MVC, and MV patterns.
• Define and enforce engineering standards for code quality, maintainability, and Swift/Objective‑C interoperability.
• Design and lead the Navigation Bridge that enables React Native to invoke native screens and receive results.
• Own app lifecycle concerns such as deep linking, push‑notification handling, and platform‑specific behavior outside the RN boundary.
• Ensure native screens integrate cleanly with the React Native runtime without leaking state, lifecycle, or memory.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional iOS development experience with production‑ready app delivery.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or lead role on iOS projects.
• Strong expertise in Swift, Objective‑C, UIKit, and SwiftUI, including view composition and state management.
• Proven experience working with MVP, MVC, and MV design patterns in large codebases.
• Experience designing native modules or bridge interfaces for React Native.
• Familiarity with Android development (Kotlin/Java) and related architecture components is a plus.
