Senior iOS Developer – SwiftUI & MVVM Lead (Remote LATAM)

About the role

Definity is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to provide senior technical leadership and mentorship within its iOS engineering team. The role is fully remote and open to candidates across LATAM, offering the chance to shape high‑impact AI‑driven projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using SwiftUI and MVVM/MVI architecture.
• Work across a mixed UIKit/SwiftUI codebase, ensuring consistency and maintainability.
• Manage backward‑compatibility considerations across iOS versions, including UI material differences introduced in iOS 18.
• Apply application security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Mentor other iOS developers, providing technical guidance and code‑review support.
• Manage or support the App Store submission and release process.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on architecture decisions and technical design.

Required profile

• Strong expertise with SwiftUI and MVVM/MVI architecture.
• Experience working in a mixed codebase supporting both UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with iOS 18 and backward‑compatibility handling.
• Proven track record shipping applications to the App Store.
• Application security experience.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
