Senior Linux Systems Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

As a Senior Staff Systems Engineer – Linux you will own the design, implementation and operation of enterprise‑scale Linux environments that power mission‑critical applications. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to automate infrastructure, ensure high availability and drive security best practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain highly available RHEL infrastructure on‑premise and in AWS.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and patching using Ansible, Terraform and Packer.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot kernel issues and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Manage virtualization and container platforms such as VMware, Docker, Podman and Kubernetes.
• Enforce encryption, TLS/SSL and data‑at‑rest protection policies.
• Collaborate with security, development and operations teams to improve reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• 8+ years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux in medium to large enterprises.
• Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch).
• Hands‑on experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
