Senior macOS Developer

About the role

Coforge is hiring a Senior macOS Developer to design, build and maintain macOS applications and components, and to contribute to a modern authentication platform. The position is remote and open to candidates based in Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain applications and components for macOS.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of a modern authentication platform, and develop and integrate authentication, identity and API-based capabilities.
• Implement Apple security best practices for macOS applications.
• Troubleshoot application, authentication, API and macOS issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, identity and architecture teams.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, debugging and productivity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience developing macOS and/or iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of SwiftUI, AppKit and/or UIKit.
• Knowledge of authentication technologies such as SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT and MFA.
• Understanding of Apple security concepts: Keychain, certificates, permissions, code signing, entitlements and secure credential management.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, testing and Agile; advanced English.
• Preferred: Apple security frameworks (LocalAuthentication, Security.framework, CryptoKit), Jamf or Microsoft Intune, Apple Platform SSO, Passkeys/WebAuthn, PKI, Python/Bash/Zsh scripting, and energy, oil & gas or large enterprise experience.
