Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships – LATAM

About the role

The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships for Latin America will develop and manage a regional portfolio of corporate and impact‑investing partnerships across sectors such as beauty, technology, hospitality and e‑commerce. You will work closely with regional leadership and the global Strategic Partnerships team to identify and grow funding opportunities that support the Rainforest Alliance’s 2030 impact strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Build and steward a diverse portfolio of corporate accounts outside the core food & beverage sector, ensuring active prospecting, cultivation and relationship management.
• Identify, develop and manage new funding opportunities, maintaining detailed pipeline data in Salesforce.
• Lead the scoping, proposal development and internal decision‑making processes for strategic partnership opportunities, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with Institutional Relations and Individual Giving to explore co‑funding and public‑private‑philanthropic partnerships.
• Represent the Rainforest Alliance at external meetings and events throughout the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in fundraising, international or sustainable development, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in consultancy, sustainable development, business development or corporate partnerships.
• Proven track record of securing funding for corporate programs and contracts.
• Fluency in Spanish and Portuguese; strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for pipeline management.
• Experience in proposal writing and development for strategic partnerships.
