Senior Platform DevOps Engineer (Remote – Colombia or Costa Rica)

About the role

Gorilla Logic is seeking a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to own day‑to‑day operations of a production Kubernetes platform. The role is fully remote and open to candidates located in Colombia or Costa Rica, working on highly available, cloud‑native workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot production Kubernetes clusters and workloads.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Manage application deployments, upgrades and complex lifecycle processes via GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
• Develop Python scripts and tooling to automate platform tasks.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, observability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve infrastructure and deployment challenges.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience managing Kubernetes in production, including scaling and incident response.
• Proficiency with Terraform for cloud provisioning.
• Ability to write Python for automation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with AWS, preferably EKS or similar managed Kubernetes services.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools like Argo CD.
