Senior Procurement Analyst GBS FSSC

About the role

SGS is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst for its Global Business Services (GBS) FSSC team in Bogotá. The role is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end procurement process, from requisition creation to invoice verification, ensuring compliance with SGS standards and delivering value to the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Verify material and service needs by location, create requisitions and select the best price and supplier.
• Source products, negotiate quality, price and delivery, and issue purchase orders.
• Track purchase orders, monitor delivery schedules, and expedite when necessary.
• Validate receipt of goods against purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers or carriers.
• Verify invoices, coordinate payments with suppliers and cross‑functional teams, and create purchase orders based on invoices.
• Collect, analyze and summarize procurement data and trends, maintaining records in SharePoint.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• English level B2+ with strong verbal and written communication.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience, with 2+ years in accounts payable preferred.
