Senior Procurement Analyst

About the role

SGS is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to join its GBS Americas shared services centre in Bogotá. The role supports the procurement function by managing purchase orders, supplier communication and payment processes while ensuring compliance with SGS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and submit purchase orders based on verified material and service requirements, selecting the best pricing and suppliers.
• Track order delivery, verify receipts against purchase orders, and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers or carriers.
• Validate invoices and coordinate payments with suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate procurement data in SharePoint and contribute to data analysis and trend reporting.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of purchasing experience; 2+ years of accounts payable preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English (B2+) with excellent written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Oracle AP system (preferred).
• Familiarity with SharePoint for document management.
