Senior Project Controller - Primavera P6 Scheduler

About the role

WSP Colombia is seeking a Senior Project Controller with strong expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling to lead financial planning and control for complex projects. You will partner with project managers to ensure financial targets, contractual obligations, and performance metrics are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management for projects.
• Monitor project revenues, costs, margins, profitability and cash‑flow performance.
• Partner with Project Managers to achieve financial objectives and contractual requirements.
• Analyze variances, prepare corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial review processes and present dashboards to senior leadership.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies and support strategic portfolio analysis.
• Guide Project Controllers and Financial Analysts on project financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in project financial management, financial PMO or project controls for large, complex projects.
• Proven track record managing budgets, forecasts, profitability analysis and cash‑flow.
