Senior Project Controls Engineer

About the role

Hatch is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to join its Project Delivery Group in Medellín, Colombia. The role supports global delivery of projects across metals and mining, infrastructure, and energy sectors, ensuring effective control, reporting, and forecasting of engineering and management work.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain project controls systems, including cost, schedule, risk, and change management.
• Produce regular reports and forecasts, interfacing with project managers, engineering teams, finance, and external stakeholders.
• Manage earned value analysis, generating KPIs such as CPI, SPI, and PF for internal and client reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of project controls experience in industrial or EPC/EPCM environments.
• Proven ability to work on high‑value, multi‑discipline projects from inception to close‑out.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to dynamic project challenges.
