Senior Purchasing Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing Analyst to lead the planning and execution of both domestic and international procurement activities within our manufacturing environment. The role involves managing supplier relationships, optimizing inventory, and driving cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute purchases of raw materials and production supplies across domestic and international markets.
• Negotiate prices, commercial terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Identify, qualify, develop, and manage a diversified supplier base.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
• Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and manage inventory using MRP systems.
• Analyze historical consumption, forecast demand, and monitor inventory turnover.
• Conduct cost analysis, assess price variances and track savings KPIs.
• Develop contingency plans for critical materials and ensure supply continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, Foreign Trade or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in purchasing raw materials or production supplies, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience negotiating with and managing domestic and international suppliers.
• Knowledge of import processes and foreign trade is a plus.
• Post‑graduate specialization in Supply Chain, Strategic Procurement, Logistics or Management is desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate to advanced English (minimum B2 level).
• Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
