Senior Quality Automation Engineer

About the role

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Quality Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability and scalability of digital solutions through modern test automation. The role works closely with engineering, product and delivery teams in an Agile environment to design automation strategies, validate APIs and web applications and continuously improve quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate thinks through testing strategies and explains the reasoning behind technical decisions.

Required profile

• 8+ years in Quality Engineering, QA or SDET roles, including 5+ years of hands-on automation testing.
• 3+ years in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ability to use enterprise-approved AI and GenAI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot to improve coding, automation, documentation and productivity, and to adopt new AI capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and a quality engineering mindset that goes beyond running tests.
• Set yourself apart with healthcare experience, especially Utilization Management or Care Management, and with Optum Clinical Manager or similar platforms.

Required skills

• Playwright, Selenium, TestGenie or similar automation tools and frameworks.
• JavaScript and/or TypeScript for test automation.
• API testing and automation, including complex integrations and service-level workflows.
• Web automation, functional, integration, end-to-end and regression testing.
• Designing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
