Senior Red Team Security Consultant

About the role

The Senior Red Team Security Consultant will join Mandiant’s Red Team Consulting practice to assess and advise clients on technical and process‑based security controls across diverse environments. This remote position focuses on adversarial emulation, penetration testing, and advanced threat analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform red and purple team engagements, including assumed‑breach and ransomware readiness assessments.
• Conduct external and internal wireless, web, mobile, and embedded system security testing.
• Develop and execute social engineering assessments.
• Research offensive techniques, create custom tools, and integrate threat‑actor intelligence.
• Share findings through documentation, internal presentations, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on penetration testing and red‑team experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Mexican citizenship as required by local labor law.
• Preferred offensive‑security certifications (e.g., OSCE, OSEP, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT, INF, SANS).
• Strong written and verbal communication for client and internal reporting.
