Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Ruby on Rails developer to join BairesDev’s remote development team. You will work on modern web applications that serve both mobile and desktop users, collaborating with a global group of top‑tier engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive web applications for multiple devices.
• Execute all phases of the systems engineering process.
• Plan, process and perform tasks independently without supervision.
• Maintain code consistency and document throughout development.
• Produce technical documentation for design, implementation and testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 5+ years of front‑end development using JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5.
• At least 1 year building web applications with ReactJS (Flux, Redux, Relay, etc.).
• Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Backbone or Marionette.
• Proficiency with ES2015/ES6/ES7, command‑line tools, APIs and client‑side performance optimization.
• Advanced level of English.
