Senior Shopify Developer – E‑commerce & Technical SEO

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Shopify Developer to own the technical performance and growth of multiple e‑commerce properties. The role spans Shopify development, conversion optimisation, technical SEO, integrations, payments, analytics and B2B commerce while establishing standards and mentoring other developers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the cart and checkout experience, improve checkout completion rates and optimise the mobile purchase path using funnel data, session replay and A/B testing.
• Manage technical SEO elements such as titles, meta descriptions, structured data, hreflang, sitemaps and Core Web Vitals across multilingual, multicurrency stores.
• Maintain integrations with POS, inventory and accounting systems (e.g., Zakya POS, Zoho) by building APIs, webhooks, middleware and monitoring.
• Configure payment gateways, fraud controls and B2B features like tiered pricing, custom catalogs and credit terms.
• Document systems, oversee domain and security management, and lead technical specifications and code reviews for the development team.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• 5+ years full‑stack web development, including 3+ years delivering revenue‑generating Shopify stores.
• Proven CRO results with measurable before‑and‑after metrics.
• Experience launching at least three Shopify stores from zero to live, preferably under a single parent organisation.

• Shopify Liquid, theme architecture, custom sections, metafields, checkout customization, Admin API.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Node.js.
