Senior Software Engineer, Onboarding (Client-facing AI initiatives)

About the role

Join Reap's Account Onboarding & Management team as a Senior Software Engineer, driving the development of secure, scalable onboarding solutions for fintech clients across LATAM. You will own the full lifecycle of features, from design to production, in a fast‑growing, AI‑enabled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications in AWS, ensuring high quality and compliance with business requirements.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features from concept to launch.
• Maintain and modernize the tech stack, incorporating the latest industry trends and AI‑assisted coding tools.
• Improve system observability and reliability through testing, metrics, and incident learning.
• Participate in talent acquisition by screening resumes and interviewing candidates.

Required profile

• 6+ years of full‑stack development experience with ownership of business‑critical systems.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, detail‑oriented, and comfortable balancing correctness with practical trade‑offs.
• Effective communicator, open to feedback, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Frontend: React.js ecosystem (TypeScript, Hooks, Redux/Zustand, React Query, MUI, Emotion/Styled Components).
• Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, API development, event‑driven/serverless architectures.
• Cloud & Database: AWS (Serverless, networking, containers, RDS), PostgreSQL/MySQL, SQL, ORMs (TypeORM, Prisma).
• Additional: Python, Go, Nest.js (nice to have), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS SAM).
• AI‑assisted coding tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex) and LLM API integration (MCP, RAG).
