Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript, Node.js, React)

About the role

Exadel is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a leading educational technology client. The role focuses on building and maintaining cloud‑based learning management and analytics solutions using modern web technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web application components with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Build and evolve user interfaces using React.
• Create reliable features for an analytics project and write automated end‑to‑end tests with Playwright.
• Containerize applications with Docker and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Implement session persistence with DynamoDB and deploy solutions in AWS environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, troubleshoot issues, and improve application reliability.

Required profile

• Professional experience building web applications with strong hands‑on TypeScript expertise.
• Proficiency in Node.js and React development.
• Experience with automated testing (Playwright), Docker, and AWS cloud deployment.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
