Senior SOX Analyst

About the role

The Senior SOX Analyst will support Mastercard's SOX compliance program within the Finance Organization in Bogota. Working closely with US, India and regional teams, the analyst will independently manage risk assessments, control testing and executive reporting while ensuring alignment with US GAAP, SEC/PCAOB regulations and COSO frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Execute SOX program components including risk assessment, control testing, remediation recommendations and executive reporting.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, IT operations and corporate audit teams to assess design effectiveness of internal controls.
• Identify efficiencies, automation opportunities and process improvements across the SOX program.
• Maintain high‑quality, timely deliverables and manage international time‑zone communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, Sarbanes‑Oxley, COSO and IT audit concepts.
• Recent Big 4 auditing or advisory experience serving Fortune 500 clients.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
