Senior Tax M&A Specialist

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Senior Tax M&A professional to join its Bogotá office. The role involves leading tax-related due diligence, identifying and mitigating tax risks, and providing strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, and investments for national and multinational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax due diligence for M&A transactions and assess potential tax exposures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare financial and tax analyses.
• Develop and deliver strategic tax advice to support deal structuring and integration.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with Colombian tax regulations.
• Maintain high precision in documentation and meet tight project deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Expertise in Colombian tax rules and accounting principles.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and handling high‑pressure environments.
• Proficiency in spoken English for effective communication with diverse teams and clients.
