SEO Content Optimizer

About the role

The SEO Content Optimizer will use Green Marketing’s custom GPT models to create and refine channel‑specific content such as blogs, service pages, FAQs, Google Business Profile posts, and social captions. The role focuses on formatting, fact‑checking, interlinking and polishing AI‑generated drafts to meet SEO, accessibility and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Use custom GPT models to draft channel‑specific content and refine it to meet brand and SEO guidelines.
• Organize content with proper heading hierarchy, scannable paragraphs, lists, tables, and SEO elements (title tags, meta descriptions, URL slugs, alt text).
• Select appropriate visuals from approved libraries, ensure relevance, quality and proper alt text.
• Implement and maintain internal linking across blogs, service and location pages to support topical clusters.
• Audit AI output for accuracy, clarity, originality, brand voice, readability and local relevance.
• Tailor content to each client’s tone, offers, certifications and regional nuances of the lawn & landscape niche.
• Follow Green Marketing’s SOPs, document gaps and propose improvements to prompts, templates and knowledge base.
• Maintain organized records of prompts, drafts, publishing status, image sources, content calendars and task boards.

Required profile

• Basic understanding of on‑page SEO (title/meta tags, headings, internal links, alt text, URL slugs).
• Basic familiarity with AI content tools and responsible prompting.
• Clear written communication and concise editing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to brand and checklist guidelines.
• Ability to follow SOPs and meet deadlines across multiple client accounts.
• Comfortable using spreadsheets and task‑board systems for tracking.
