SEO Specialist – Remote (Mid‑Level)

About the role

Near is seeking a mid‑level SEO Specialist to join a fast‑growing US client’s remote team. You will own the execution and continuous improvement of SEO strategies, helping the company rank higher on Google and emerging AI‑driven search platforms while supporting high‑impact marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine SEO tactics to boost rankings, visibility, and conversions.
• Conduct keyword research, on‑page optimization, technical SEO audits, and experimental tests.
• Analyze competitive data and content gaps to define actionable improvement plans.
• Maintain technical SEO health, including site architecture, Core Web Vitals, crawl efficiency, and schema markup.
• Implement link‑building, topical authority, and content consolidation strategies.
• Report weekly performance metrics, linking results to business KPIs such as MQLs, booked meetings, and revenue.
• Stay current with Google algorithm updates and AI/LLM‑based SEO innovations.
• Write conversion‑focused copy for landing pages, CRO experiments, and other growth projects.

Required profile

• 3+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in B2B.
• Ability to translate senior leadership strategy into clear specifications for developers and content teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proactive, high‑ownership mindset with strong planning and execution skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs.
• Proficiency in pulling and interpreting data from GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and SEMrush exports.
• Technical SEO knowledge: site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, crawl optimization.
• Strong copywriting ability for conversion‑focused content.
