SEO Strategist

About the role

Vinnie Mac, a full‑service marketing agency for home service and restoration contractors, is seeking an SEO Strategist to own and execute comprehensive SEO strategies across a portfolio of clients. The role blends technical SEO, on‑page optimization, local SEO, and off‑page authority building while collaborating closely with content, web development, paid ads, and client success teams.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary SEO point of contact for clients, leading weekly content meetings and monitoring team capacity.
• Conduct thorough technical SEO audits, implement site‑speed, crawlability, indexing, mobile‑friendliness, and architecture improvements, and coordinate with web developers.
• Optimize on‑page elements, perform keyword research, content gap and competitor analyses, and ensure content aligns with SEO strategy.
• Develop and execute local SEO tactics, including Google Business Profile optimization, citation building, and backlink outreach.
• Track, report, and translate monthly performance metrics into clear business outcomes, while documenting processes and contributing to cross‑department initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on, full‑spectrum SEO experience covering technical, on‑page, local, and off‑page disciplines.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive measurable results.
• Comfort with AI tools and a proactive attitude toward learning and implementation.
