SharePoint Administrator

About the role

Polaris Advisors is seeking an experienced SharePoint Administrator to support a large‑scale Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environment. The role involves managing both on‑premises SharePoint farms and cloud services, driving migrations, and automating processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support SharePoint Server environments (2013, 2016, 2019).
• Manage and optimise SharePoint farms, services, and infrastructure.
• Support Office 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Planner, and Loop.
• Lead SharePoint migration projects, including on‑premises to cloud migrations.
• Build automation solutions using PowerShell and PnP scripting.
• Implement Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Microsoft 365.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
• Provide end‑user support, training, and technical guidance.

Required profile

• Strong experience administering SharePoint Server (2013‑2019).
• Knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, SSL certificates, and SQL Server.
• Experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with SharePoint migrations using tools such as ShareGate.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
