SOC IR L3 Consultant – Security Incident Response

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SOC IR L3 Consultant to lead security incident response within our high‑performing Security Operations Centre. Based in Bogotá, Colombia, you will work in a hybrid setting, investigating and mitigating complex cyber threats for the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end response for high‑severity security incidents.
• Investigate alerts using SIEM, EDR, IDS, firewalls, antivirus, proxy and forensic tools.
• Analyse intrusion attempts, correlate events and assess business risk.
• Conduct host, network, memory and malware forensic investigations.
• Collaborate with Security and IT teams to contain, remediate and improve processes.
• Develop and enhance SOC playbooks, procedures and incident response documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in SOC, incident response, threat hunting or threat research.
• Proven ability to lead complex incidents across the full response lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of attack techniques, threat analysis and cybersecurity operations.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
