Social Media & Community Assistant

About the role

Carepod is looking for a Social Media & Community Assistant to help execute daily social publishing, content creation, community engagement, and performance tracking. This remote, full‑time position works closely with the Social & Community Manager to keep the brand’s online presence consistent and engaging.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and maintaining seasonal and monthly content calendars.
• Schedule posts, reels, and stories across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms.
• Create captions, designs, and visuals; repurpose user‑generated content.
• Monitor social trends, viral formats, and platform updates.
• Respond to DMs and comments promptly and in a brand‑aligned tone.
• Engage followers, support giveaways, collaborations, and campaign activations.
• Escalate customer‑service issues to the appropriate teams.
• Pull and organize weekly and monthly social analytics.
• Identify top‑performing content and support testing of formats and engagement strategies.

Required profile

• 1–3+ years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing.
• Strong written communication and caption‑writing skills.
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proactive, clear communicator who can juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Passion for social media, community building, and digital storytelling.
