Software Engineer (Django) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company founded more than 15 years ago, is hiring a Software Engineer specializing in Django. You will build robust web applications and APIs using the Django framework, creating scalable and efficient back-end solutions. The position is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework.
• Implement efficient data models and complex queries with the Django ORM for optimal database interaction.
• Manage and customize the Django admin interface to provide internal data management tools.
• Ensure security and scalability by following Django best practices and architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
• Optimize performance through profiling, caching strategies and efficient code practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on Python and Django.
• Proven experience building web applications and APIs with Django and Django REST Framework.
• Deep understanding of Django ORM, admin components and the Django ecosystem.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable backend services and RESTful architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
