Software Engineer I – Hybrid (Bogotá)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer I to join Quorum Software’s development team in Bogotá. The role is hybrid, requiring at least two days per week on‑site, and offers the chance to work on applications that support the energy‑transition industry.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to gather and document functional requirements.
• Design and implement new features or incremental enhancements using Angular, ReactJS, C# and the .NET framework.
• Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Create and execute manual or automated test cases, and participate in performance tuning.
• Develop automated installation and deployment packages and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Document system architecture, behavior, and code changes.
• Participate in Agile planning, sprint reviews and continuous improvement activities.
• Mentor and train junior team members and contribute to overall product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent education).
• At least 1 year of experience in application development, design, implementation and support.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot bugs, connectivity or OS issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
