Sr. Associate – Finance & Accounting (I2C 5B)

About the role

The Sr. Associate will support the Finance & Accounting (F&A) function by handling cash application, collections, and accounts receivable processes for Genpact's clients, primarily in Colombia.

Key responsibilities

• Make collection calls, email/fax invoices, and manage hard‑copy invoice requests.
• Allocate cash based on customer remittances, validate payments, and report to the business.
• Collaborate with multiple AR entities, track aged receivables, and reconcile orders.
• Act as Subject Matter Specialist for AR processes, including creating/updating SOPs.
• Identify and resolve unidentified cash, manage end‑to‑end cash application, and ensure Daily Receipt Reconciliation.
• Handle customer/internal disputes, follow up on queries, and work across departments for resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or related field (Master’s acceptable).
• Experience in cash application, collections, and AR processes; real‑estate client experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Spanish (C2 level) and ability to communicate with clients.
