Steward (Hotel Kitchen)

About the role

As a Steward in Hilton’s hotel kitchen, you will ensure that all serviceware and kitchen areas are spotless and ready for guests. You will be a key part of delivering the exceptional hospitality experience that Hilton is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and polish all chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans.
• Monitor and replenish stock of supplies and equipment to support seamless service.
• Maintain overall kitchen cleanliness, including mopping floors and removing trash.
• Prepare and set up clean serviceware for banquets and other events.
• Train and mentor new stewards to strengthen team performance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness regulations.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and a commitment to integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership and urgency.
• Junior Middle School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment (preferred).
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles (preferred).
