Store Expansion Manager

About the role

The Store Expansion Manager will lead the planning and execution of new store openings in Bogotá, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth targets. The role requires fluent English and Spanish communication, and a strong understanding of the local retail market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement store growth plans and expansion strategies to meet annual opening targets.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate site locations in business districts, managing key indicators such as construction and rental costs.
• Coordinate with construction suppliers to guarantee delivery capabilities and monitor construction progress.
• Maintain and expand relationships with property developers, shopping mall departments, and commercial groups.
• Conduct quarterly mapping of business districts and keep the location database up‑to‑date.
• Inspect and approve store construction in collaboration with HQ and regional stakeholders, ensuring compliance with local laws and standards.
• Execute store establishment tasks assigned by the headquarters expansion team.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in local store expansion or retail real‑estate development.
• Familiarity with Bogotá’s retail market, business‑district formats, and construction processes.
• Established partnership resources with top‑tier and mid‑tier commercial groups, malls, and real‑estate firms.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture, engineering management, project management, or a related field.
