Supply Chain, Purchasing & Compliance Coordinator (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented Supply Chain, Purchasing & Compliance Coordinator to support our growing international operations. The role is fully remote and focuses on purchasing, supplier management, and import coordination within the food manufacturing and distribution sector.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day purchasing activities with domestic and international suppliers, create and track purchase orders, and maintain supplier contracts and documentation.
• Build and sustain strong supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing, product availability, and on‑time delivery.
• Monitor supplier lead times, purchasing schedules, inventory needs, and resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, and deliveries.
• Manage inbound shipments by working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouses; prepare import documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, COAs, and Bills of Lading.
• Support customs clearance, address shipment delays or damages, and assist with landed cost calculations.
• Maintain food safety and regulatory compliance records, supplier approvals, and audit documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in purchasing and procurement with a solid understanding of supply chain operations and import logistics.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Comfortable working US business hours (EST–PST overlap preferred).
