System Architect – Colombia

About the role

CI&T is looking for a System Architect to design and implement robust architectural frameworks that support the company’s AI‑driven business solutions. You will work closely with business owners and Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to ensure alignment between strategy, capabilities, and delivery outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business owners and RTEs to define scope, success metrics, milestones, risks, and transition‑to‑run plans, maintaining traceability from strategy to portfolio items (Jira/Jira Align).
• Maintain a live repository of dependencies, lifecycle, cost drivers, regulatory exposure, and blast radius; present trade‑offs and early impact signals before PI Planning.
• Provide data‑led, AI‑aware guidance by promoting telemetry, data governance, and pragmatic AI practices that add value across product lines.
• Curate reference capabilities, integration principles, and coach solution/software architects to improve reuse and alignment.
• Define and routinely report outcome measures such as lead time, reliability/SLOs, risk reduction, cost avoidance, and adoption, ensuring clear executive visibility.

Required profile

• Proven mastery in system architecture, including capability mapping, target‑state design, incremental road‑mapping, and operating‑model design.
• Hands‑on experience with architectural tools and linking strategy to SAFe/Lean Portfolio (themes/OKRs → epics → features).
• Strong knowledge of information and data governance, risk/compliance, privacy, and technology lifecycle management.
• Ability to assess cloud/platform, integration, eventing, and observability options and guide AI adoption.
• Excellent executive communication skills, capable of turning ambiguity into actionable roadmaps.
